申請父母來美探親的步驟
一: 準備材料:
Documents from Inviter ( 邀請人材料 ):
Letter to Visa officer ( 致簽證官的信 ).
Invitation letter to parents in Chinese and English ( 給父母的中英文邀請信 ).
Copies of passport, visa, I-94card, driver license, SSN ( 護照 , 簽證 , I-94 卡 , 駕照 , 社會安全卡復印件 ).
Bank statement ( 銀行存款證明 ).
Statement of employment ( 單位雇佣證明 ).
一般公司的HR部门应该给出证明. 需告訴HR你要雇佣證明做什麼用途, 他們都知道怎麼寫. 基本上只要信里寫這三點內容就可以了:
- 你的雇佣日. 是permant employee還是contractor.
- 你的年薪
- 你的job title.
W-2 Statement, year 2004 (2004 年 W-2 表 ).
Documents from Invitees ( 被邀請人材料 ):
DS-156, DS-157 form. (DS-156, 157 表 )
Certificate of Marriage, Title of real estate, Certificate of retirement, Permanent Residence Booklet, national ID, medical insurance card. ( 結婚證 , 房產證 , 退休證 , 戶口本 , 身份證 , 醫療保險卡 ).
Bank statement ( 銀行存款存折 ).
Statement of retirement pension and Retirement account booklets ( 退休金證明和退休金存折 ).
Statement of Relationship ( 親屬關系證明 ).
Permanent Residence Booklets of the other daughter in China ( 在中國的女兒的戶口本 ).
Family pictures ( 家庭照片 ).
二.準備面試問題
常問問題如下:
1. 你們去美國做什麼? (肯定被拒的回答: 去美國看孫子/孫女)
2. 你女兒/兒子在那里做什麼?他/她是哪一年去的?
3. 你們以前去過嗎?
4. 你們要在那里待多久? 誰負擔你們的費用?
5. 你們在國內還有子女嗎? 他們是干什麼的?有照片嗎?
6. 你們有房子和銀行存款證明嗎?
7. 為什麼不讓女兒/兒子回來看你們? (如果你去美國時間長中間又沒回去的話)
三. 電話卡預約
電話卡可以在各地的中信實業銀行購買. 有8分鐘和16分鐘兩種卡. 記住如果你是邀請你父母兩個人一起來的, 一定要買16分鐘的那種. 他們已經設計好好了, 8分鐘只夠提供一個人的信息.
預約得到的面試時間取決于申請人的多少. 大概要等一個月.
